Users Need to Revoke Authorization for Ethereum Payment Processor V2 and V3 Contracts
On September 25, Quit, the Vice President of Blockchain at Yuga Labs, reminded users to promptly revoke the authorization for the Ethereum Payment Processor V2 and ApeChain Payment Processor V3 contracts, recommending the use of revoke.cash or other similar tools for this operation. If users' assets have been transferred without permission and are stored at an address starting with "0x71cf", those assets are in a safe state, but affected users still need to revoke the authorization for the aforementioned contracts. Previously, the NFT marketplace Magic Eden reportedly experienced a security vulnerability, with white hat hackers transferring 3,832 NFTs from hundreds of wallets, valued at approximately $1.5 million. Quit stated that this transfer was part of a white hat operation, and the related NFTs are currently stored in addresses starting with "0x71cF", ensuring asset safety, and will be fully returned once the risk is mitigated.
