TruGolf Acquires Polymath Research
TruGolf has completed the acquisition of Polymath Research, the developer of the Layer1 blockchain Polymesh, with the specific amount undisclosed. Following the acquisition, TruGolf will continue to operate its golf technology business, including simulators and the E6 platform, while Polymath will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary. TruGolf Links and Polymath are developing a device leasing program for tokenized securities financing and will offer franchise rights to qualified franchisees, with plans to launch in the first quarter of 2027. TruGolf Links has committed to opening over 100 locations in New Jersey, New York, and Illinois through regional developers. After the transaction, Natalie Hirsch has been appointed as TruGolf's Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and David Hackett has joined the TruGolf board.
