Socure has integrated its RiskOS identity and fraud platform into Circle's Arc Onramp experience, enabling user verification and fraud decision-making as users convert fiat currency to USDC. This integration adds a compliance layer to Circle's blockchain, ensuring identity data is not directly included in public transaction flows. Arc focuses on financial applications, requiring knowledge of customer identities to assess fraud and compliance risks. Socure's software operates within this onboarding layer, allowing applications to evaluate users before converting fiat to USDC. The integration exemplifies the merging of traditional fintech infrastructure with blockchain technology, addressing the need for offchain identity verification while maintaining compliance. The RiskOS integration is a recent addition to Arc, enhancing the infrastructure for stablecoin applications and aiming to streamline user interactions with minimal visibility into the underlying compliance processes.
