Mr. Beast Team Member Involved in Kalshi Insider Trading Fined

BlockBeats News, February 26th, according to Forbes, a top influencer from the Mr. Beast team's editor was banned by Kalshi for two years and fined around $20,000 for making a $4000 predictive trade using insider information between August and September 2025. CFTC Chairman Mike Selig stated that the agency has established a Prediction Market Advisory Committee to collaborate with industry participants to combat insider trading and warned wrongdoers of legal consequences.

Furthermore, a former candidate for Governor of California was prohibited from using Kalshi for violating insider trading rules. The political candidate bet around $200 on his own election odds during last year's campaign and posted related content on the X platform. Kalshi imposed a five-year ban and a $2000 fine on him. The description points to Kyle Langford, who is currently running for Congress.
