Ethereum Staking Total Exceeds 36 Million ETH, Accounting for 29.15% of Total Supply

BlockBeats News, July 20th, according to Dune Analytics data, the total staked amount on the Ethereum Beacon Chain has surpassed 36.07 million ETH, accounting for 29.15% of the total supply. Since the Shanghai upgrade, there has been a net inflow of 17.91 million ETH to the staking contract. The staking participation through the Lido liquid staking protocol has reached 25.21%.
Ethereum transitioned from Proof of Work (PoW) to Proof of Stake (PoS) in September 2022. The Shanghai upgrade went live on April 12, 2023, introducing the staking withdrawal capability, allowing validators to withdraw their staked ETH along with accumulated staking rewards.
