Country risk exceeds 700 points, dollar bonds fall by up to 1.8%
Sovereign dollar bonds continue their decline on October 20, with drops of up to 1.8% in long-term securities. Investors are unable to find catalysts to reverse the downward trend amid expectations of weak performance in the Monthly Economic Activity Estimator (EMAE). Tensions in the markets of the United States and Europe also affect emerging assets. The Global 2046 (GD46) leads the losses with a drop of 1.8%, followed by GD41 (-1.8%), GD38 (-1.7%), and GD35 (-1.5%). The Bonares show declines of up to 1.7% in a context of selling pressure. The country risk, which had reached 675 basis points on the previous day, is approaching 700 points. Exceeding this level could deepen market distrust towards Argentine debt in an environment of local economic uncertainty and increased international financial volatility.
