Xie Jiayin: Clearing the Bubble, Projects Moving Towards Tokenization
Xie Jiayin, the head of Bitget's Greater China region, stated at the Token2049 conference in Singapore that users are gradually becoming more professional, starting to redefine products and expressing demands for options and strategy squares to enhance capital efficiency. For institutions, the improvement in capital efficiency brought by tokenization is a core demand. He pointed out that the bubble is clearing, and projects are beginning to move away from tokenization, no longer relying solely on issuing tokens for marketing, but instead creating real value through payment, asset management, and brokerage services. Furthermore, the industry is welcoming a clear regulatory framework, which will face growing pains in the short term, but in the long run, compliance and institutionalization will drive the industry to develop into a mature financial infrastructure.
