Surf Launches SurfBoard NFT, Tokenized US Stocks Accumulated After Reveal
On October 15, AI crypto research platform Surf launched the NFT series SurfBoard on the Robinhood Chain, with a total of 6,666 units, no additional issuance, no public sale, and zero team reserves. Eligible annual members can claim it for free, while other users can purchase unrevealed NFTs for 1 SURFBOARD on the official website. SurfBoard adopts the ERC-404 standard and will accumulate five tokenized stocks—NVDA, SPY, META, GOOGL, and SPCX—based on rarity weight after the reveal. Revenue comes from 3% of the transaction fees from the official pool (of which 2.2125% is used to buy stocks) and 5% secondary market royalties from revealed NFTs. Holders can sell the NFTs and transfer accumulated rewards, or they can burn the NFTs to redeem 95% of the rewards, with the remaining 5% distributed to other revealed NFTs based on weight. As of the time of writing, 1,916 SurfBoards have been revealed, accounting for about 29% of the total, with a cumulative stock value of approximately $20,000, while unrevealed NFTs are currently priced at about $200. Surf reminds that SURFBOARD can only be traded on the official platform, and quotes from other DEXs come from unofficial pools.
