Stellar Network Transaction Fee Drops to $0.00012 with Daily Transactions Reaching 12 Million
On October 11, the average transaction fee on the Stellar network fell to $0.00012, while the daily transaction count reached 12 million. This translates to an average of 139.15 transactions per second, indicating that the network experienced its busiest day of the week. Chainspect noted that low fees and high usage were observed during this period. Additionally, improvements in network performance were achieved with the Stellar Protocol 28 update, which aims to speed up the consensus process during peak times. The CAP 83 proposal allows validators to start voting before the transaction data set is complete, preventing delays or invalid transaction sets from slowing down the system. In the Stellar ecosystem, the total value of real-world assets has risen from $300 million to $3.54 billion since January 2025. Furthermore, it is projected that the growth of tokenized funds will exceed $2.7 billion in 2026.
