On the 6th, U.S. Ripple announced that it is deepening its relationship with Brevan Howard, an alternative investment management company with approximately $35 billion in assets under management. With the expansion of the contract, Ripple Prime will provide Brevan Howard's funds with prime brokerage, clearing, and lending services across multiple asset classes.
According to Ripple, there is a growing demand for prime brokerage services that span traditional and digital markets among major global investment management firms, within a framework suitable for regulated enterprises. Alan McGloarty, COO of Brevan Howard Group, also stated that as the connection between digital and traditional markets strengthens, there is an increasing demand for digital asset infrastructure at the institutional investor level.
In response, Ripple Prime will provide Brevan Howard with a comprehensive prime service that crosses asset classes and products through an integrated platform designed to enhance capital efficiency and simplify operations.
Noel Kimmel, president of Ripple Prime, stated that Brevan Howard's adoption reflects an appreciation for competitiveness and asset cross-functionality, and the expansion of the relationship reflects a commitment to sharing long-term success.
