OneKey Launches Hardware Wallet Verification Website OneStone
On October 15, OneKey launched the hardware wallet verification website "OneStone" to help users identify abnormal implants on the device's motherboard. The site was developed by OneKey founder Yishi in response to user concerns about the Ledger implant incident. The tool uses unified prompts and judgment rules for Ledger, OneKey, and Trezor, without special handling for OneKey devices. Users can open the device, take photos, and upload images of the motherboard, which will be resized to no more than 2048 pixels and re-encoded. The photos are then transmitted via Cloudflare to Anthropic's Claude visual model for analysis. The model will identify whether the motherboard matches the device model and mark any abnormal components. The detection results are determined by fixed rules: if the main chip is identifiable and no abnormalities are found, the result is "not concerning"; if abnormalities are found, it is "very concerning"; if the photos are insufficient to support a judgment, users are prompted to retake the photos. Yishi emphasized that this tool does not recommend changing wallet brands, and the detection results are for reference only and cannot serve as proof of device safety. Users still need to conduct official checks and contact the device manufacturer's customer service.
