iTrustCapital CEO: 50% Clients Investing in Bitcoin
Kevin Maloney, CEO of iTrustCapital, reported that approximately 1 billion dollars were invested on his platform last quarter, with several hundred million dollars coming from clients' cash positions. He noted that about 50% of clients are currently buying Bitcoin. Maloney highlighted that over 100,000 clients are showing a shift in behavior, indicating they are not simply 'chasing candles.' He discussed the implications of this trend for the investment cycle and mentioned that retirement investors typically allocate 5 to 15% of their portfolios to Bitcoin, which he describes as 'stickier capital.' Maloney also addressed investor fatigue and the impact of the recent failed vote on the Clarity Act, as well as the need for further regulation. He provided insights on the macro outlook, ETF flows, and his 18-month perspective on the market.
