HSBC plans to launch the Hong Kong dollar stablecoin HSBC Redcoin in the second half of 2026, initially supporting peer-to-peer transfers and merchant payments through PayMe and the HSBC HK Mobile App, with plans to expand to wholesale scenarios for businesses and institutions later.
