Espresso Data Throughput Reaches 181 MB/s with Confirmation Time Under 1 Second
Espresso's latest benchmark tests show that its data throughput has reached 181 MB/s, equivalent to approximately 1 million stablecoin transfers per second, with a final confirmation time of less than 1 second. This throughput surpasses that of Tempo (3.74 MB/s), BNB Chain (1.18 MB/s), Arc (0.48 MB/s), Avalanche (0.43 MB/s), and Ethereum (0.35 MB/s). Espresso states that as AI agents increasingly represent individuals and businesses in transactions, the number of on-chain transactions will surge dramatically. These software solutions require infrastructure to support the skyrocketing transaction volume and confirm each payment at machine speed, without waiting for several minutes.
