70% of wealthy investors in U.S., UK, Germany hold crypto
A CoinShares report reveals that over half of high-net-worth individuals in the U.S. and major European countries own cryptocurrency, with ownership rates between 54% and 70%. The survey of 2,230 high-net-worth individuals across the U.S., UK, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and Switzerland found the highest rates in the U.S., UK, and Germany at 70% each, followed by Switzerland at 69%, France at 66%, Italy at 58%, and Sweden at 54%. Crypto investors typically allocate around 10% of their portfolios to cryptocurrencies. Among these investors, 80% hold Bitcoin, and 89% of Bitcoin investors also own other cryptocurrencies. Additionally, 79% of respondents favor stronger regulation of the digital-asset market, while 77% believe Bitcoin will play a significant role in the future global financial system.
