Fill or Kill (FOK) Order
A Fill or Kill (FOK) order is a type of trading order that must be executed immediately in its entirety or not at all. This type of order is typically used in volatile markets or for large trades where partial fills are not acceptable. In crypto trading, if a trader places a FOK order to buy 1,000 Bitcoin at a specific price, the order will either be fully executed at the specified price or immediately canceled. This type of order is useful for traders who want to avoid partial execution, which can lead to less favorable average prices or increased fees. However, due to the stringent conditions of FOK orders, they are not as common as other types, such as market or limit orders.
