US Stock Exchange Listed Company Aether Acquires Crypto Communication and Media Platform Coinstack
BlockBeats News, January 19, Aether Holdings, a Nasdaq-listed financial technology group, has acquired institutional-grade cryptocurrency communications and media platform Coinstack under Alpha Edge Media. This acquisition aims to expand the group's financial content and data business, with Coinstack currently having over 340,000 subscribers.
The financial terms of this transaction were not disclosed. The company has stated that Coinstack will continue to operate under its original brand independently while receiving Aether's technological, analytical infrastructure, and distribution channel support. Established in December 2020, Coinstack serves a global audience of professional investors, including hedge funds, venture capital firms, family offices, and digital asset market participants, offering curated insights into Bitcoin, Ethereum, decentralized finance, and broader blockchain market trends.
Aether described this acquisition as adding a highly interactive, institution-focused communication channel to strengthen its expanding media and data ecosystem, complementing its existing analytical, research, and content services. Aether's CEO, Nicolas Lin, stated, "Coinstack is a strategically valuable addition to Alpha Edge Media." He particularly emphasized the platform's subscriber base, engagement metrics, and established brand value, noting that the acquisition will help broaden audience reach, deepen content services, and support future data-driven initiatives in the digital asset and broader financial markets.
Following the acquisition, Coinstack will benefit from Aether's technology stack and analytical capabilities, while Alpha Edge Media plans to gradually integrate Coinstack's content and audience insights into its broader platform ecosystem. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aether Holdings, Alpha Edge Media operates a finance communication and investor resource network led by experts, covering public markets, digital assets, and alternative investment fields.
