According to CNN, the US military has currently deployed fighter jets, AWACS planes, drones, and other forces in countries including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the UAE. The US military has also deployed multiple destroyers and littoral combat ships near the Red Sea, the Persian Gulf, and the Strait of Hormuz, with the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group, including the F-35C Lightning II fighter jets, in the Northern Arabian Sea. The USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group is expected to arrive earliest this weekend.

As a significant amount of US military naval and air forces gather in the Middle East, Trump recently stated, "having good discussions with Iran, we must make a meaningful deal with Iran. Will have the answer to Iran within approximately 10 days, and I no longer care about the Nobel Peace Prize now. Iran must make a deal, or something bad is going to happen."

According to PolyBeats monitoring, on the prediction market Polymarket, the probability of the US striking Iran before the end of February has risen to 25%, before March 15th to 45%, and before the end of March to 56%.
