Tokenized Asset Coalition Launches DeFi Composability Framework for Tokenized Securities GAP
The Tokenized Asset Coalition (TAC) has launched the Global Access Protocol (GAP), aimed at achieving composability of tokenized securities within DeFi. This protocol was developed jointly by TAC and the Digital Securities Initiative over the course of a year, during which multiple discussions were held with the U.S. SEC, CFTC, and Treasury. More details will be announced next week. TAC also announced the addition of 12 new members, including Ascend, Control, Cryptio, Digital Securities Initiative, Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, Euler, Lava, OpenZeppelin, Overmatch Capital, Protocol Wealth, Reserve, and T-RIZE. In September 2023, TAC was co-founded by Coinbase, Circle, and Aave, with the aim of promoting RWA tokenization, aiding the education sector, advocating for standardization, and collaboratively building the infrastructure necessary for RWA adoption.
