Paradigm Releases Audited Built-in JIT Compiled New EVM evm2
Paradigm partner and CTO Georgios Konstantopoulos announced that the team has launched a newly audited EVM evm2, which features built-in Just-In-Time (JIT) compilation. This EVM will be applied to Foundry, Reth, Tempo, and all EVM ecosystem projects that adopt its tech stack. The code for evm2 has been made public on GitHub and is written in Rust, allowing developers to customize opcodes, gas rules, transaction types, precompiled contracts, and more without altering the core code. According to the README page, evm2's execution speed can reach up to twice that of the current mainstream Rust EVM implementation, revm.
