Opinion: This Crypto Bear Market Is Not Caused by a Single Factor, 15 Major Factors Combined to Drive the Downtrend
BlockBeats News, February 7th. Renowned Argentine economist and senior crypto trader Alex Krüger posted on social media, stating that the current crypto bear market was not caused by a single factor. He summarized the 15 major factors driving the sharp downturn in the market, including: the “1011” great liquidation, Treasury corporate stock market cooling off, quantum threats, AI substitution effect (capital, talent, mining companies shifting to AI), Trump political risk, scarcity of innovation in the crypto industry, oversupply of incremental tokens, Powell nominated as the new Fed chair, etc.
The above views were endorsed by smart contract pioneer and co-founder of Castle Island Ventures, Nic Carter. Nic Carter believes that this crypto bear turn should not be blamed on a single event, as many of the issues in the aforementioned 15 major factors are quite tricky.
