1 Crypto Highlights
1)Bitcoin Pulls Back Near $83,500 as Long-End Yields and Oil Cap Risk Appetite
Bitcoin traded near $83,500, down about 1%–2% over 24 hours, while Ethereum was near $2,680–$2,690 and held up better than the broader tape. The 10-year Treasury yield touched a multi-year high near 5.29% intraday, and Brent broke above $102, reheating inflation and rate-pricing concerns. Majors struggled to hold above $85,000. Citi raised its bitcoin target to $113,000, but the near-term path still depends on yields and ETF flows.

2)Monad Hints at an October 6 Privacy Reveal; MON Spikes Then Fades
Monad recently teased “Privacy is coming,” with markets expecting an October 6 event to reveal privacy capability. MON spiked and then faded, though it remained up about 3.7% over 24 hours. The market is trading launch timing and ecosystem-flow hopes, not realized revenue. If October 6 brings only a concept demo without a usable product, the rally could keep unwinding.

Futures: MON
3)NEAR Intents Attacked; NEAR Falls About 8.5% in 24 Hours
NEAR Intents confirmed an attack with preliminary losses of about $3.8 million, tied to a bug in Omni deposit-and-withdrawal infrastructure interacting with the NEAR Intents smart contract. The team said the contract issue was fixed, core services recovered within about an hour, and users would be fully reimbursed. Some network deposits and withdrawals remained paused for fixes. The incident hit cross-chain trust, and NEAR fell about 8.5% over 24 hours.

2 TradFi Highlights
1)Crude Surges, Brent Breaks $102 and Energy Outperforms
Brent settled up about 4.4% at $102.31 on October 1, while WTI rose about 2.7% to $92.87; Brent remained near $102 early on October 2. Tighter refined-product supply, low diesel inventories and shipping-related supply premia drove the rally. Energy stocks were relatively resilient, but higher oil also firmed inflation expectations and may keep pushing long-end yields higher.

Spot: CRUDEOIL
Futures: XLE / CL / BZ
2)Micron (MU) Guidance Helps Memory Recover
Micron (MU) initially faded after earnings but later closed up about 3%. Its results and next-quarter guidance reinforced AI memory demand, while high expectations triggered an early “sell the news” move before yields eased and the stock repaired. Capital still treats memory capacity, HBM orders and AI-server demand as the next key catalysts.

Spot: MU
Futures: MU
3)Accenture (ACN) Confirms AI Consulting Demand and Jumps About 16%
Accenture (ACN) reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $18.68 billion, EPS of $3.29 and new bookings of about $22.2 billion, with a book-to-bill ratio around 1.2. The company guided fiscal 2027 local-currency revenue growth of 3%–6% and EPS of $14.39–$14.81. The stock rose about 16% as markets read AI as incremental bookings rather than a pure substitute for consulting demand.

Spot: ACN
Futures: ACN
4)Nike (NKE) Misses on Sales and Falls About 6% After Hours
Nike (NKE) reported EPS of $0.48 after the close, above expectations, but revenue missed and the company outlined cost cuts and job reductions. The stock fell about 6% after hours. Markets focused more on revenue, inventory clearance and channel repair than on the one-quarter earnings beat. The next checkpoint is whether direct, wholesale and key regional demand can stabilize.

Futures: NKE

3 Today’s Preview
Nonfarm Payrolls — October 2, 08:30 ET (20:30 UTC+8)
Payrolls, the unemployment rate and hourly earnings will directly reshape rate pricing before the next policy meeting. A strong labor and wage print, with oil still above $100, could send long-end yields higher again and pressure SPY, QQQ and IWM. A cooler report may give risk assets a short-term repair window.
Watchlist: SPY, QQQ, IWM
Spot: SPY / QQQ / IWM
Futures: SPY / QQQ / IWM
