More Markets Attacked, Losing 15.5 Million WFLOW Worth Approximately 9.3 Million USD
Blockchain security company Blockaid has detected a vulnerability exploitation on More Markets on Flow EVM. The attacker exploited Ankr's bound LST (liquid staking tokens) and the E-Mode mechanism to successfully drain More Markets' WFLOW lending reserves. Approximately 15.5 million WFLOW were transferred out from the mFlowWFLOW reserves, with the detected impact amounting to around 9.3 million USD. The related attack transaction cluster also included fund transfer operations following the exploitation. The specific losses from the incident and the whereabouts of the attacker’s funds are still under further verification.

OpenAI’s annualized revenue of about $50 billion came in below higher figures that had circulated, pressuring tech and chip names. Nasdaq fell clearly, while Dow edged higher. Energy led, with WTI up about 3.2% to about $91. Bitcoin pulled back from about $86,000 and traded near $81,000, down about 5%. September PPI is the focus on October 9.
