Lee Jun-seok Raises Concerns Over Project Han River Transaction Tracking
Lee Jun-seok, a member of the National Assembly, has raised concerns that personal transaction histories could be exposed in the Bank of Korea's digital currency experiment, "Project Han River." He pointed out that if a specific user's wallet address is identified, their transaction history could be tracked, criticizing the fact that multiple banks participate in the same blockchain ledger. For example, he explained that if a Woori Bank customer remits money to Nonghyup, Nonghyup would know the amount and time of the remittance, allowing them to identify the parties involved in the transaction. He referenced past cases where wallet addresses were identified on public blockchains, leading to the tracking of transaction histories, arguing that similar issues could arise in the Bank of Korea's experiment. However, Bank of Korea Governor Shin Hyun-song countered that transaction information is operated in a way that restricts access, emphasizing that financial institutions, which are not parties to the transaction, cannot view other customers' transaction histories. Nevertheless, Lee pointed out the potential for transaction information leakage in private blockchains in the event of system hacking.

The Wormhole (W) price rose more than 60% in 24 hours on October 11 and 12, 2026, and about 100% over seven days on KuCoin's data. Sources link the move to altcoin rotation, not a new Wormhole event. The MAGIC coin rose more than 20% in 24 hours around October 11, 2026, and roughly doubled over seven days on KuCoin's figures. Treasure, the project behind it, has shifted from Web3 gaming toward AI agents. No clear catalyst has been published, and the token is a small cap, so the move carries unusually high risk.

STRK price briefly broke above $0.12 on October 12, 2026, while PLUME, LUMIA and other Layer 2 tokens also rose. Only STRK has a clear catalyst, and the total crypto market barely moved. The evidence points to a one-token squeeze that lifted its neighbors, not a confirmed sector rotation.
