Jito Upgrades BAM Transaction Bundle Infrastructure to Support Direct Submission of Transaction Bundles

By: x.com|10/14/2026 03:51:54

Jito has announced two upgrades to its BAM transaction bundle infrastructure, including Direct Bundle Ingest (DBI) and an optimized Block Engine forwarding path. DBI has been available for mainnet use to the first batch of seekers over the past month, allowing transaction bundles to be submitted directly to BAM nodes via QUIC or JSON-RPC without going through the Jito Block Engine. Existing transaction bundles received by the Block Engine and sendTransaction traffic will also be directly forwarded to BAM via DBI, bypassing the previous 50-millisecond auction phase. Comparing two statistical periods of approximately two and a half weeks before and after the upgrade, the number of transaction bundles received by BAM decreased by 7.5%, while the number of successfully on-chain transaction bundles increased by 16.9%, with the on-chain rate rising from 0.45% to 0.57%. Currently, DBI employs a whitelist access mechanism.
