Hyperliquid HIP-3 Market Accounts for Nearly 50% of Perpetual Trading Volume
The Hyperliquid market based on HIP-3 accounted for nearly 50% of the platform's perpetual contract trading volume by the summer of 2026, up from about 2% at the beginning of the year. The stock market dominated by TradeXYZ includes the Nasdaq-100 index and individual stock contracts. During the same period, the overall trading volume of RWA perpetual contracts rose from approximately $85 billion per month in January to about $470 billion per month in June, with Binance, Hyperliquid, and OKX collectively holding over 80% of the market share in this category. Haseeb Qureshi, managing partner at Dragonfly, stated that the industry needs multiple dedicated blockchains to meet institutional compliance requirements, rather than a winner-takes-all approach.
