Hyperion DeFi Launches Stock Buyback, Repays $8.6 Million Debt
Hyperion DeFi (Nasdaq: HYPD) has initiated a stock buyback program for HYPD and has repaid approximately $8.6 million in outstanding debt. The company stated that it has repaid all outstanding principal and interest under the loan agreement with Avenue Capital, with part of the debt repayment funds coming from the sale of HYPE tokens. Following the loan repayment, the company has no long-term outstanding debt. Hyperion DeFi has also raised its performance guidance and announced several new business initiatives, gaining greater operational flexibility to expand its on-chain DeFi business and improve its capital structure after the debt clearance.
