This unprecedented multi-chain distribution is designed to build bridges between blockchain communities.In a sharp departure from typical crypto launches, Midnight’s tokens will be allocated entirely to retail users with no allocations to venture capitalists or early insiders. Recipients of the Glacier Drop will be able to keep, trade, or discard their tokens, with no strings attached. Hoskinson said:"You already have it, congratulations. It’s yours. It’s your property."At the core of Midnight’s philosophy is “cooperative economics.” Rather than forcing users or developers to abandon their preferred blockchains, Midnight will allow developers to build hybrid decentralized applications (dApps) and pay fees in their native tokens—be it ETH, SOL, BTC, or ADA.
